Global financial markets, in the past few years, have faced a series of dramatic changes, e.g. globalized financial markets, free flowing offshore capital, rapid information development and deregulation. These all extend markets’ boundaries over nations’ geographic borders. It is undoubted that securities market is the most efficient venue for listed companies to raise capital. Securities analysts act as a communication bridge between cooperations and investors, as they help investors understand cooperations’ investing values, speed industries’ development with unceasing capital and prosper economy.
The Securities Analysts Association has established almost 3 decades. Under each Chairman’s leadership, this association has had significant achievement in research, cultivation, information collection, international interaction and Taiwan securities market’s sound development. Due to worldwide intense competition and free market information surfed from Internet, securities analysts must strength their expertise and value-added service to face coming challenges and globalized trends. Looking into the future, Securities Analysts Association will aggressively internationalize Taiwanese securities market, interact and cooperate with worldwide securities analysts associations and strength Taiwan market’s importance, internationalization and exposure to attract more capital to Taiwanese economic development.
Missions of the Securities Analysts Association are to cultivate securities analysts, promote securities investment and provide more service to members. We hope that the securities market’s participants, namely investors, securities firms, listed corporations and academic institutions; can continue their assistance and supports to our activities. We will expand our membership to securities analysts to encourage their self-discipline, expertise and ethic so as to secure our securities markets’ sound development.
